You might be wondering why there are no rules in our game. That’s because there are no official rules. 

What we love about our game is that each person who owns Hye Lotto can choose their own rules. We like to play with “house rules”, so every house we visit decides their own set rules. However, just in case you would like some ideas, these are some rules you can choose to use. 

First things first. How do you mark the card? Well, you can use anything to mark your game card; coins, beans, pasta, chickpeas, buttons. It all works, get creative! 

I’m sure your tatik has something in her house you can use. 

Next, you have to have a dealer, somebody who is going to call out each playing card. This dealer can also have their own game card and play along with everyone else or they can simply just have the job as a dealer. This might be obvious, but each player needs their own playing card. As the dealer calls out an image from the card deck, the players mark their card. 

Lastly, how do you win? 

Option 1: 4 in a row. Diagonal, horizontal or vertical. The first person to get four in a row and shouts “Lotto!” wins the game.  

Option 2: Black out. The first person to mark up ALL images on their playing card and shouts “Lotto!” wins the game.
